My Artistic Journey
For as long as I can remember, art has been my way of life. I am the daughter of an artist and fondly remember attending many craft festivals and art shows as I was growing up. I continued my love of art and design by attending college initially for fashion design and then changing my major to graduate with an interior design degree. I've always loved patterns on fabrics and home goods and when I'm drawing, I'm often thinking about how the illustration's assets can be used to create a cohesive pattern collection. My artwork tends to have a retro or vintage vibe incorporated into modern aesthetics. My inspiration comes from many things, but nature, my love of interior design and passion for travel are among the top inspirational forces for me. I embrace creativity and strive to inspire others through my work.
